The Walnut Tree In a beautiful, peaceful location, only 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from the A303, this charming family-run hotel prides itself on its reputation for quality food and luxurious bedrooms.Although only half a mile from the A303 and just a short drive from Sherborne, Yeovil and Wincanton, The Walnut Tree has a picturesque setting with tranquil surroundings. Full of traditional character and charm, with beautiful original features inside and out, the hotel has 13 en suite rooms. Each of the rooms is individually furnished and decorated with its own unique characteristics. Free wireless internet access is available in all the rooms.Guests can choose to dine in the bar area or in the à la carte restaurant, with its lovely wood-panelled dining room and soft candlelight. For the last 3 years, the restaurant has received an AA Rosette award for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the fresh, local ingredients it uses.
